William G. Laak

Bill has exclusively been a workers’ compensation defense attorney since 1992. His practice proved to be an extension of his work and experience gained as a claim representative while simultaneously attending William Mitchell College of Law.  Through his claims handling work, Bill gained valuable experience and insight from many of the wonderful people he still represents today. Bill believes that excellent customer service is the key to building long-lasting relationships with his clients. He’s quoted as saying, “People depend on us to provide quality legal service, which is a whole lot more than just knowing the law (which also helps).”

Bill has been married to Becky for many years and are now empty-nesters.   Their son Jordan is matriculating at Mankato State University. Their daughter, Piper. is currently attending the University of Washington.   Bill enjoys spending time with Becky and with friends, golfing, and taking in an occasional horse race.
