Dan Singel’s contractor provided construction services for the $88 million Via Sol mixed-use affordable housing community in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Construction faced setback and delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and financing issues, resulting in multiple contractors proceeding with their mechanics liens. After preserving its client’s lien claim, McCollum Crowley helped its client avoid lien foreclosure expenses by providing release-of-lien bonding on behalf of the developer, thereby securing the funding needed to pay the firm’s client and get the project back on track.
